A Waffle Brunch Baby Shower for Emily's Sister

The Collection's own Emily is a new Auntie to baby Tessa Love Williams! She is tiny and beautiful! We wanted to share all of the pretty details of the baby shower that Emily hosted for her sister, Aly (that gorgeous blonde in the above photo). We are crazy about all of the homespun elements — repurposed lampshades strung from the ceiling, freshly baked cookie favors and the most delicious brunch spread (home cooked by the family). Emily did an amazing job bringing the feeling of springtime indoors using fresh tones of yellow and white.
Purchased at Merci in Paris, the Seletti Wooden Picnic Cutlery is packaged in kraft paper, illustrated and stitched up into individual settings! Grey linens adorned the tables, and taffeta-trimmed napkins were folded at each place. Simple roses from the supermarket are placed inside glass bottles, and sugar cookie ducks baked by Emily's mom were neatly tied up for guests to take home with them. 
Breakfast is one of those meals we could enjoy any time of day! The ladies of the house whipped up savory and sweet deliciosness from a waffle bar complete with Nutella, bananas and their Grammy's homemade jam, to a fruit parfait layered with fresh berries, to crispy bacon slices and egg strata. Yum! We adore the heart-shaped brown sugar, another lovely export from Emily's recent trip to Paris. 
Emily purchased the paper blessing tree at Renegade Craft Fair. She selected the taffeta-trimmed Lemongrass napkins paired with Tuscany silver table linens from Collection member La Tavola Linen. The gift table was overlaid with loveliest La Tavola Emma Lemongrass linen (which was one of Aly's favorite details!). The photo blocks were handcrafted by friend Brooke Robinson and photos were taken by Collection member Ellie Grover.

what a beautiful family tribute to a brand new mommy! the photographer really showed the joy and creativity that went into the event. auntie em is so unique with her creations.
I LOVE this shower. It is homespun and classy and I adore the light frames frames wrapped in fabrics. Looks like a fun time!
