Happy First Day of Summer!
Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at 5:00AM Summer is here! It's official. We are typically spoiled with sunshine in California {not counting the dense layer of fog that blankets San Francisco most days} but this winter saw a particularly long stretch of rainfall. The bright blue skies have us smiling lately. Our summer dreams are filled with floral dresses, front yard parties, big straw sunhats, cocktails in the {early} afternoon, lobster rolls and oysters by the sea, lazy beach days, stay-cations and, of course, weddings. What does summer mean to you?
If you call Wine Country home or plan to visit this summer, check out the effortlessly cool Bardessono Hotel in Yountville every Wednesday night for "Dive Bar" with drink specials poolside on the rooftop from 6- 9PM. We will be there in a bikini {reluctantly} with a much-needed beverage in hand.
