Printed Matter: YeeHaw Industries Hails the Vegetable

In the spirit of the summer season, where we celebrate all of the fresh, seasonal produce here in California, we can't help but find YeeHaw Industries Farmer's Market posters to be rather charming and awesome. The Tennessee design studio has a suitable motto: All Letterpress All the Time. In a town heavy on carnivorous grub, its refreshing to see the vegetable celebrated in print! {Pictured above are 18 assorted letterpress cards printed in off-white and brown inks on natural recycled paper with recycled kraft envelopes.}
YeeHaw Industries has been a proud sponsor of the Market Square Farmers Market since way back in 2004. The homespun Farmers Market series features original illustrations {the eggplant is our personal favorite}, inspired by vintage postcards from days past. They are hand carved in wood block and lino, hand typeset with antique fonts, and hand printed. YeeHaw cheekily says, "If there's one question we get on a daily basis, it's got to be, "How do ya'll do that?" We encourage you to read about the process here!
