A Boulder Love Shoot with Chowen Photography

John and Rachael met 7 years ago when she was a junior at The University of Colorado Boulder. "We met for the first time when he happened to be at my neighbor's house when I stopped by one day. It was a quick meeting and I didn't see him again until a few months later. The next time I saw him again it was out on the town and we instantly connected.

"When I went to his apartment a few days later I met his roommate and the first thing he said to me was, "So you're the girl next door, huh? John's been talking about you and knocking on your door before we go out for 6 months. Nice to finally meet you." At the time I worked as a coat check girl at a theater and didn't get home until well past midnight, so missed him every time he knocked on my door. Needless to say, from that point on we were inseparable."

"Our engagement shoot with Heidi and Daniel Chowen was an amazing experience. We went to Chautauqua Park at the base of the gorgeous Flatirons with our sweet dog, Harlow. Heidi and Daniel were so much fun to work with and truly made us feel comfortable for the first time in front of a camera. They were knowledgeable, outgoing and just lovely to spend the afternoon with! We are very grateful to have had this time in our relationship captured so perfectly."
