A San Diego E-Shoot with MEF Photography
Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at 5:00AM Matt and I met through a mutual friend, Lacey. I was living with her and her husband, David, when I first moved to San Diego and was looking for a job as an attorney. Lacey mentioned (during a long girl talk session) that there was someone she wanted to introduce me to, but she warned me that she wasn't sure if he was looking for anything serious. Lacey suggested that I email Matt my resume because he knew a lot of lawyers and could give me some job leads. So, I sent him my resume. Though Matt didn't have any leads, he did have a suggestion: "Let's get together for dinner." After countless tacos and beers, Matt's long drives up to Carlsbad to see me, a knee surgery and a move downtown, and it was official - Matt was serious about me. And I was serious about him.

We took our pictures while walking around Little Italy in downtown San Diego. That is where our love began, and it seemed only fitting that we go back there to take pictures celebrating this special time in our lives.
Stated simply, Molly is amazing. One of the first things she said when we were starting our engagement shoot was that she would take a couple of pictures she calls "Mom Shots" - posed shots with us smiling and looking at the camera. The rest, she said, should be pictures that our great-great-grandkids look at and know what our love and relationship was like. That idea really resonated with me, and I am so ecstatic that our pictures are reflective of the love we have for one another, and beautifully depict the place where that love flourished.
