Michael {founder of Yeah! Rentals} has been producing events of all types around the world for most of his adult life. "I have planned and executed music festivals, dinners, art openings, photo shoots, weddings, and corporate events for Fortune 500 companies, random celebrities, close friends, (random friends) and just about everyone in between," explains Michael. After collecting furniture, props, rugs, accents and art pieces from all of these events over the years, he put his treasures to good use and started Yeah! Rentals- a mid-century rental company that screams Southern California Cool.

Describe the Yeah! Rentals bride. Ray Eames, the better half of Charles Eames. Together they started to design movement over 60 years ago.
What is your design weakness? We're very specific...we are not into lots of stuff. {Call it picky, call it selective, call it whatever you want... this guy knows what he likes!}
What is Yeah! Rentals aesthetic? Mid century modern, industrial & cosmic desert design.
Any favorite antique shops or flea markets in California you're willing to share? Craigslist!
What is your favorite interior design blog? The Brick House.

What inspired you to open Yeah! Rentals? I play records at a lot of weddings and see the same thing over and over and over and over again. I have never been to a wedding (except my own) that had mid century design elements, so I decided to change that.
How would you describe your wares? Modern dining and lounge furniture from the Eames case study era meets the most stylish camping trip in Joshua Tree you could ever imagine. {Sounds like Yeah! Rentals plus Shelter Co. would be a match made in heaven!}
What is it about California that inspires you and your collection? Well, California is the place it all started: mid century modern designed furniture, architecture, sculpture, and graphic art all came of age in Los Angeles. Ray and Charles Eames {who were the leading designers of the original movement} worked from their legendary studio in Venice Beach and embodied the creative verve for life and work that we strive for everyday at YEAH! Also, if you want to get out of LA the desert is so close, which has always inspired us. The architecture, the color palette, the cactus / succulents, and the psychedelic / cosmic elements of Joshua Tree create an incredibly inspiring aesthetic. Southern California and our aesthetic is a very natural combination.
